Finally, I made headway with T's room. It was crazy how many trips up and down the stairs I made to get her room to the state that it should be in. T wasn't much help in the process, she spent the majority of the time making Mrs. Potato configurations in her play kitchen!
Here are the next, long awaited pics of our kitchen! I cannot say just how much I like this kitchen! It is absolutely amazing! Maybe, I've always had sub par kitchens and so I'm easily appeased, but this one is fab! I'm not sure if the pictures of the island really do it justice. The granite slab in the middle is an extremely generous size. It practically doubles as a secondary dining table, which is where the kids eat all of their meals. I have never had double ovens or a cook top, but my kitchen now has both. I've used the double oven once and the convenience of it just makes me giddy. Another cool thing about our kitchen is the walk-in pantry. If anyone wants pics of the inside, let me know and I can take some. It hasn't been organized yet, like I want it to be so thats why I didn't take pictures yet. I suppose since this is part 2, I could always add it to part 3, huh? Anyhow, here are the pics:
The last set of pictures is from our basement bath. I'm kind of keeping it simple and hanging the gerber daisy plaques that we had in our powder bath at Wright-Patt. I picked up the bath mat and towels from World Market and Target. Again, the pictures don't really do the color the the bath mat and towels justice, either. They are a really bright, beachy, turquoise blue. For some reason, the pictures makes the color look a little more subdued.
So, that wraps up Part 2. The last and final part 3 will be on its way shortly. Thanks for reading!
